From looking at a print of the wiring harness and an old operator's manual, this is a relay used for the 'neutral start' circuit. One of the wires from the neutral start switch, ref. 9, runs to this relay (purple and black wire). An orange wire from the ammeter connects to the same terminal on the relay as the heavy wire from the positive post of the battery. The heavy wire on the opposite side of the relay goes to the starter.

This is a part used by Wisconsin, the engine manufacturer, not Case. From the looks of it, a standard Ford starter relay with two large and two small terminals should suffice.
