L12627 clutch cutout cylinder - Make sure that the L31030 adapter plug is in place in the control valve prior to installing the new clutch cutout cylinder. Quite often this plug freezes to cylinder and comes out along with it when removing old cylinder. If this happens it will appear that new cylinder has wrong size thread to fit into the transmission control valve.

Also if new cylinder will not fit into L72956 bracket, you may have to slot the hole in the bracket to accomodate the mounting shaft of the cylinder.
