The Dowel pin hole and dowel pin are no longer required and have been eliminated from these parts. The balancer gear is now attached to the crankshaft with bolts (4 of A155438), hardened washers (4 of A50820) and nuts (4 of A51904). The bolts are torqued to 50-55 ft./lbs. (68-75 NM) per CE Service Bulletin 38-81.

A66168 engine balancer assy - There are 2 small gears located behind item 3 oil pump cover. The part nbrs for these gears are A22564 and A22555. The larger balancer gears are NSS.
