The 1983238C1 engine coolant sender is still used in the hole in the block that has 1/2" NPTF thread. The 159147A1 engine coolant sender goes into 153493A1 reducer bushing. These have M16 x 1.5 metric thread. See 9020B catalog on Figure 2-056 artwork where bubble 1 is pointing (there are two threaded holes with an unthreaded hole between them).
