P/N 289506R1 this O-Ring slides over the step on the backside (inside) step of the differential carrier (Ref. #4). In some instances this O-Ring has a tendency to roll off when installing the carrier. If this happens there are two methods that will help but, do not do this until you have gone through the shimming procedures and are ready to install the carrier. 1. Apply a small amount of grease to the O-Ring to help retain it. 2. With clean surfaces (free of grease and oil) put a small amount of super glue
