The Dakota Dozer, as used on early Series III ST models, is identical to the Steiger Dozer and can be serviced with all parts shown here. However, on the Dakota Dozer prior to S/N 272-144, a different lift cylinder, identifiable by the screwed-in fitting on the gland end as opposed to the welded-on part, was used. P/N 38-852 is the complete cylinder and P/N 38-865 is the seal kit. If a complete cylinder is needed, order the latest cylinde P/N 01-5926.

The top lift cylinder mount on the A-Frame has been changed from a single ear to a double ear, or clevis type mount on the later models. This change requires that a capscrew (Ref. 11 P/N 19-5404) now be used instead of a pin (Ref. 11 P/N 9422063) for the top cylinder mount on these later models. Also, capscrew P/N 223489 (Ref. 7) is now being used on the bottom cylinder mount even though the pin (P/N 9422063) will still fit there.
