To determine which brake valve assy., determined by the power assist is on the early PTA 296 and 297, check the modelnumber which is stamped on on a serial nunber plate affixed to the power assist, not casting nbrs., the later version ,02-1207with 02-1276 assist, will have vendor model no. 02-461-216, any other number will indicate an early version, these are interchangeable as a unit so order latest.
