The coating on the Cylinder Head (Gland) can flake off and get under the Rod Seal causing external leakage.This may occur on cylinders with a manufacturing date code bebetween 31-92-1 through 15-94-1 the date code is stamped into the outside of the cylinder tube at the gland end. Leakage caused by this problem will normally occur early in the life of the loader. See Bulletin NMH SB 00196. Kit is P/N 24389A1.
